How does a personal chef service work?

After contacting us, we will schedule an in-home or phone consultation. At the consultation we will discuss all food preferences, allergies and any diet goals you may have. From there we will schedule a date for the food to be prepared at your house and the first menu.

What areas do we serve?

Charleston and surrounding areas, including: Mount Pleasant, Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms, Folly, Kiawah, & Seabrook. We are open to farther travel in some cases.

Payment

We accept cash, checks, & credit cards. Payment is due at time of personal chef service. A 50% deposit is due upon booking for all catered events.

Are your licensed and insured?

Yes.

Are groceries included in the package price?

Groceries are not included in the package price. The cost of the groceries will be added to cost of the package and paid for at the time of service. This way you only pay for what you want.

Can you handle special diets?

Yes, we have worked with numerous people with special diets. We specialize in Gluten Free.

Do you provide the containers?

We will use any containers you have on hand and provide any extra that may be needed. We encourage regular clients to purchase some nice pyrex or tupperware.

How long will the meals last?

Our general rule of thumb is 5 days for Vegetarian meals, 4 days for meat and 3 days for seafood. If you plan to eat it after that, we will freeze it directly after preparation.

Is the food Organic?

This is completely up to you. We will discuss your preferences at your consultation. We do try to source as much local produce, meat & seafood as possible.
